The New Jersey Bike & Walk Coalition is the statewide membership advocacy organization dedicated to making New Jersey a better place to live by working with all stakeholders—townships, elected and appointed officials, clubs and enthusiasts. Recent accomplishments include building a broad coalition of organizations to keep federal funding under MAP-21, support for passage of Complete Streets policies in a number of municipalities, and implementation of bike and pedestrian friendly enhancements, including ensuring that necessary maintenance work on the George Washington bridge has a minimum negative effect on the half million cyclists that pedal across each year. The education program of NJBWC teaches pedestrians and cyclists of all ages and motorists to share the roads responsibly. Each year, NJBWC holds the NJ Bike & Walk Summit, presenting cutting-edge topics with local, regional and national speakers. To support the coalition's work, join NJBWC!
